3-day-spectacular

Your tour begins the moment you step aboard your luxury coach

Take the opportunity to wander though a rainforest, cuddle a koala and a kangaroo, sample some oysters, indulge in some local food and wine, go shopping in a couple of country villages, cruise the Shoalhaven River, go whale or dolphin watching, or kayaking on Jervis Bay (subject to weather conditions), wander along pristine Jervis Bay beaches and through some spectacular Aussie bush while staying in 4 star waterfront accommodation at Angler’s Rest.

This Tour has been designed for those who enjoy spending time soaking up and enjoying hands on experiences.

Your Tour begins the moment you step aboard your luxury Kennedy’s coach. While journeying through Sydney you will benefit from an informative commentary. Your friendly, expert guide will help you with any questions you may have, and of course will be ready to take some great pictures.

Our itinerary includes the best places to visit and things to do on the South Coast as well as the best guides, transport and accommodation making sure that you have an unforgettable, spectacular tour of the South Coast.

On our first day we visit The Royal National Park, Bald Hill Lookout, The Grand Pacific Drive and Sea Cliff Bridge, the beautiful Budderoo National Park and Minamurra Falls Rainforest and Kiama Blowhole. We offer local produce and wine sampling at Crooked River Wines, where you can also purchase your favorite wine to have with dinner, or enjoy on your deck back at your waterfront accommodation.

A delightful sunset cruise along the Shoalhaven River will bring you to your waterfront accommodation at Angler’s Rest Waterfront Cabins.

On the second day after a leisurely breakfast and perhaps a walk along the waterfront we travel to Jervis Bay to enjoy your adventure of choice to either visit the renowned Lady Denman Heritage Museum or hop onboard a Jervis Bay cruise or for the more energetic a guided kayak tour with Jervis Bay Kayaks (subject to availability).

Satiate your appetite with fish and chips at the Husky RSL with some free time to explore the town of Huskisson. We spend the afternoon exploring the ecology, culture, history and whitest sands of Jervis Bay’s beaches and Booderee National Park.

Saving the best till last we spend our final morning at the Shoalhaven Zoo where you will get to cuddle a Koala and a Kangaroo or a Dingo and any other animal that’s on show.  Take some time out to wander around the zoo and enjoy the view from the beautiful banks of the Shoalhaven, or just have a look at John the Crocodile – now famous for mistaking trainer Trent’s hand for food.

Next we will travel to the township of Berry, the first truly rural town south of Sydney. With its historic buildings and leafy surrounds, Berry is a delightful village to visit year-round. In the past few years Berry has become a favourite refuge for Sydneysiders seeking fresher air and a less hectic lifestyle who don’t want to forego some of the attractions of city living. The town is well supplied with all the essential ingredients of an urban lifestyle, including many arts, crafts and design outlets and restaurants & cafés and gourmet outlets. You will have time to wander and purchase lunch and souvenirs before our journey back to Sydney.
